e 2, Paragraph 2., The state shall provide an additional $105,000 in cost sharing toward <br />tasks described in Exhibit B. <br />4. P ge 3, Paragraph 3.A. Compensation and Method of Payment shall be increased by <br />$ 05,000.00 for a new total not to exceed in the amount of $255,000.00. <br />5. P ge 3, Paragraph 5. C., The term of this agreement shall be extended through June 30, 2002. <br />contract is further amended by adding the following civil rights assurance clause: <br />T ie undersigned is subject to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the <br />R habilitation Act of 1973, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the Age <br />D scrimination Act of 1975, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, and offers all <br />p rsons the opportunity to participate in programs or activities regardless of race, color, <br />n tional origin, age, sex, or disability. Further, it is agreed that no individual will be turned <br />aN iay from or otherwise denied access to or benefit from any program or activity that is <br />directly associated with a program of the RECIPIENT on the basis of race, color, national <br />01 igin, age, sex (in education activities) or disability. <br />A co4y of the original Contract is attached hereto as EXHIBIT "ONE ". <br />7. Tf e effective date of this amendment is upon approval of the State Controller or his designee. <br />cept for the "Special Provision ", in the event of any conflict, inconsistency, variance, or <br />itradiction between the provisions of this amendment and any of the provisions of the <br />ginal contract, the provisions of this amendment shall in all respects supersede, govern, <br />i control. The "Special Provisions" shall always be controlling over other provisions in <br />contract or amendments. The representations in the Special Provisions concerning the <br />,ence of bribery or corrupt influences and personal interest of State employees are <br />;sently reaffirmed. <br />9. Fi ancial obligations of the state payable after the current fiscal year are contingent upon <br />fu ds for that purpose being appropriated, budgeted, and otherwise made available. <br />10.
