rr <br />File: COOP- DISTRICT - 561 -00 <br />Tamarack Plan Recharge and Wildlife Habitat Project <br />LSPWCD Contact: Robert Schott <br />Contact Person: Jay Stafford <br />Contract Amendment #ONE <br />PBA <br />Routing # <br />Amount: $105,000.00 <br />Fund: 1006p ura <br />�r <br />THIS AMENDMENT, made this day of 2001, by and between the State of <br />Colorado for the use and benefit of the Division of Wildlife hereinafter referred to as the "State," <br />and Lower South Platte Water Conservancy District, hereinafter referred to as "LSPWCD" or <br />"Contractor." <br />FACTUAL RECITALS <br />Authority exists in the law and funds have been budgeted, appropriated, and otherwise made <br />available and a sufficient unencumbered balance thereof remains available for payment in Fund <br />Number 410, Appropriation Code 050 Contract Encumbrance Number C104823; and <br />Required approval, clearance, and coordination has been accomplished from and with <br />appropriate agencies and the authority exists in the State law and additional funds have been <br />budgeted, appropriated and otherwise made available and a sufficient unencumbered balance <br />thereof remains available for payment in the Department of Natural Resources for an increase in <br />the amount of $105,000.00; Contract Encumbrance Number ; and <br />The parties entered into a contract dated June 13, 2000, Contract Routing # 00 -PBA- 00301, CE# <br />C100329, to monitor existing and potential habitats for aquatic native species to determine <br />optimal habitat requirements to develop better pond and stream refuge habitats as part of the <br />recharge projects at the Tamarack Ranch and Pony Express SWAs. <br />The State and LSPWCD have agreed to cooperate in monitoring existing habitats and utilize that <br />information to continue the development of recharge facilities at Tamarack and Pony Express <br />State Wildlife Areas to provide benefits to aquatic state - listed and special concern native species. <br />Additional 1006 funds are now available to expand upon the work tasks of the original Contract. <br />NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby agreed that <br />1. Amendment No. ONE is supplemental to the Original Contract (COOP- DISTRICT - 561 -00), <br />Routing #00 -PBA- 00301, and all terms, conditions, and provisions thereof, unless <br />specifically modified herein, are to apply to this Amendment as though they were expressly <br />rewritten, incorporated, and included herein. <br />Lower South Platte Water Conservancy District shall provide the services and purchase the <br />equipment described in Exhibit B of this Contract Amendment in addition to that described <br />in Exhibit A of the original Contract. <br />Page 1 of 4 pages <br />
