Professional Capabilit es
Dab Baures, Geology
Dale Baures has more than 19 years of experience on a large number of mining, water
resources, and engineering geology and geotechnical investigations where he has been
responsible for characterization of engineering and geologic conditions. He has
conducted geologic mapping, geologic data collection, evaluation of geologic hazards, in
situ testing of soil and rock materials, and a wide range of material sampling
investigations for foundations, dams, tailings, tunnels, and landslide projects. His
experience includes projects in the western United States, Alaska, Central and South
America, and Africa.
Dan Johnso)7, PE, mains
Dan Johnson is the Director of Dams Technology for URS and has participated in and
been in responsible charge of field investigations, laboratory testing, analyses, report
preparation and construction documents and construction management in the field of
geotechnical engineering and dam design. Projects have principally involved dams, but
also included fossil fuel power plants, oil shale facilities, refineries, tailing and waste
disposal facilities, industrial plants, water and wastewater treatment plants, power
transmission lines, pipelines, landslides, and building and housing projects. He is highly
experienced (more than 80 projects) in the geologic and geotechnical aspects of
foundations, use of construction materials and the overall concepts of dam project siting
and hydraulic feature layout. Mr. Johnson's dam experience includes concrete gravity
dams, earth dams, zoned earth - rockfill dams, faced rockfill dams, and arch dams. Mr.
Johnson is an internationally recognized expert in the investigation, design, and
construction of Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) dams.
Jo %n Bisboff, PE, Tunrrels
John Bischoff brings significant tunneling expertise to the CRRP. Specifically, he has over
30 years of experience in the analysis, design, and construction of tunnels and other
underground structures including the assessment and design of remedial repairs to existing
tunnels. His Colorado experience includes tunnels in Glenwood Canyon (hanging Lake)
and hard rock and sediment formations (Stanley Canyon).
Mary Stahl PB, Water Treatnierzt
Mary Stahl's water treatment and conveyance experience includes master plans, studies,
preliminary designs, and final designs. Her experience includes treatment, distribution
systems, and distribution system modeling. Water quality experience includes various roles
on treatment plant projects, including both designs and studies, most recently the Dillon
microfiltration design and the Greeley Master Plan. Reuse experience includes Project
Manager of the Denver Water Reuse project, Project Engineer for the Plum Creek Reuse
-
