I SECTION 5. Colorado water conservation board data collection — <br />2 appropriation. - - - - - - - - <br />- • <br />3 (1) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of <br />4 any moneys in* the Colorado water conservation board construction fund not <br />5 otherwise appropriated, to the Colorado water conservation board, the sum of two <br />6 hundred thirty one thousand dollars ($231,000), or so much thereof as may be <br />7 necessary, for satellite monitoring and data collection efforts related to in- stream <br />8 flow monitoring, compact protection, and decision support systems. <br />9 <br />10 (2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall remain <br />11 available for the designated purposes until they are fully expended. <br />12 <br />13 SECTION 6. Satellite monitoring system maintenance - appropriation. <br />14 (1) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of <br />15 any moneys in the Colorado water conservation board construction fund- not <br />16 otherwise appropriated, to the department of natural resources for allocation to the <br />17 division of water resources, the sum of four . hundred three thousand dollars <br />18 ($403,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, for the maintenance of the <br />19 satellite monitoring system established and operated pursuant to section 37 -80 -102 <br />20 (10), Colorado Revised Statutes and data collection efforts related to ,flood <br />21 forecasting and warning. • <br />22 <br />23 (2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall remain <br />24 available for the designated purposes until they are fully expended. <br />25 <br />26 SECTION 7. Instream flow decision support system - appropriation <br />27 (1) In addition to any other appropriation, there is hereby appropriated, out of <br />28 any moneys in the Colorado -water conservation board construction fund not <br />29 otherwise appropriated, to the Colorado water conservation board, the sum of four <br />30 hundred forty thousand dollars ($440,000) to implement the in- stream flow decision <br />31 support system by retaining a contractor to develop the necessary databases, and <br />32 collect the required water resources information for the planning, management and <br />33 modeling decision support system based tools to complement the Colorado decision <br />34 support system. <br />MI <br />36 (2) The moneys appropriated in subsection (1) of this section shall remain <br />37 available-for the designated purposes until the project is completed. <br />38 <br />39 - SECTION 8.
