V
And Integrated Logging System (TAILS) number, the Federal Agency requesting
consultation, project Location, project Description, project Timing, Type of water - related
activity (i.e., existing or new as defined in the Program Document), Amount of depletion
if estimated, and the Offset mechanism (e.g., how it is addressed by the relevant
Depletions Plan). The list is grouped by biological opinion date within the States of
Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska.
1 For existing water - related activities seeking Program coverage, the Service normally does not request
estimates of the historic depletion, unless this information is required to comply with a State Depletion
Plan. For new water - related activities in the South Platte River basin of Colorado seeking Program
coverage, the Service does not request depletion estimates, as the State of Colorado has committed to
periodically report on aggregate water use and development throughout the basin, and to provide estimates
of corresponding monthly accretions and depletions accruing to the South Platte River at Julesburg during
the first Program increment (Colorado's Plan for Future Depletions).
3
