The protocol will <br />be used to define the final scope and budget for the stage change study, but proposals submitted <br />in response to this RFP need to provide enough detail on the overall project to convey an <br />understanding of the stage change study. The results of the study will serve as a tool for the <br />Governance Committee to assist in determining the effects of flow changes over time on river <br />stage and associated physical parameters thought to be of significance to pallid sturgeon <br />(Scaphirhynchus albus). <br />In responding to this RFP, the Governance Committee requests the following information: <br />1) Scope of work for completing this project. Prospective contractor should address the tasks <br />outlined herein. <br />2) Detailed schedule for completing each task in the preliminary scope. The following are the <br />critical dates for the Governance Committee's preferred schedule for the project: <br />February 15, 2008 <br />Protocol draft for Governance Committee review <br />March 31, 2008 <br />Final Protocol/ Notice to Proceed with Protocol Implementation <br />September 30, 2008 <br />Draft of First Progress Report on field work activities <br />December 31, 2008 <br />Draft of Second Progress Report on field work activities <br />July 30, 2009 <br />Complete field portions of study as defined in the Scope of Work <br />September 30, 2009 <br />Submit draft report and other materials for review <br />December 31, 2009 <br />Final Report <br />
