and it is not expected to result in any public controversy. An environmental assessment is on file
in the Regional Office of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, 134 Union Boulevard, Lakewood,
Colorado 80225 and is available for public review upon request.
Based on my review and evaluation of the EA and other supporting documentation, I have
determined that the "Tamarack Managed Groundwater Recharge Project" is not a major Federal
action which would significantly affect the quality of the human environment within the meaning
of Section 102 (2) (c) of the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969. Accordingly,
preparation of an environmental impact statement on this proposed action is not required.
