TASK 2 — Permittine <br />Description of Task: <br />Grand County will secure all applicable permits including US Army Corps Engineers and CDPHE. <br />Grand County will work with BLM who will prepare any Environmental Assessments required for the <br />project. Grand County will work with BLM to secure a Right Of Way permit and agreement for the <br />long term maintenance of the in- stream structures. <br />Method/Procedure: <br />Grand County staff, consultants and engineers will work with the appropriate agencies to secure the <br />required permits. <br />Deliverable: <br />404 Permit; CDPHE Permit; Environmental Assessment; ROW Permit. <br />TASK 3 — Coordination /Outreach/Education <br />Description of Task <br />Grand County will provide project coordination and outreach to other Roundtables, local government, <br />agencies, outfitters and members of the public in order to provide a better understanding of how the <br />construction of the project meets the Non - Consumptive Needs of the Colorado Basin. <br />Method/Procedure <br />Make public presentations to at least 4 other Roundtables, local government, agencies, outfitters, <br />boating industry affiliated organizations and others. <br />Deliverable <br />List of public presentations, dates, locations with brief description of the response to the project. <br />_TASK 4 - Sianaae <br />Description of Task <br />Develop and install education signage regarding the project at Pumphouse consistent with the BLM <br />guidelines. <br />Method/Procedure <br />Contract for sign design, construction and installation. <br />Deliverable <br />Install 3 educational signs regarding the Gore Canyon Whitewater Park at Pumphouse. <br />TASK 5 — Construction of Whitewater Park structures <br />Description of Task <br />Hire an appropriate contractor to build the in stream features in accordance with the design <br />specifications in the final design. <br />Method/Procedure <br />Following all appropriate Grand County contracting and bid processing guidelines, the County will <br />contract with a construction firm to build the features to the specifications outlined in the bid <br />specifications and bid documents. <br />Deliverable — <br />The project will be constructed. Progress reports including photos (before and during construction) will <br />be provided to the Roundtable and to the CWCB. Photos of the project in use by boaters will be <br />provided upon completion of the project. <br />Project Tasks 6 through 8 are beyond the scope of the grant funds. <br />2 <br />
