DRAFT - 9/26/01 <br />SECWCD - AURORA IGA <br />Aurora's existing water supplies, present and future water <br />uses, and need for additional water storage space, as well as <br />any necessary analysis of other storage space alternatives <br />available to Aurora. <br />vi. Aurora intends that any contract it executes with <br />Reclamation for use of Fry -Ark Project facilities shall <br />provide for storage or exchange of non - Project water at <br />rates established by the United States, after consultation <br />with Southeastern and Aurora, for storage or exchange of <br />water to be used outside Southeastern's District boundaries. <br />Aurora and Southeastern intend that such rates shall reflect <br />Reclamation's current rate-setting policies for such out -of- <br />District use, and must be sufficient to assure that Aurora's <br />uses of Fry -Ark Project facilities will not result in any <br />adverse impacts to the financing, repayment, operation, <br />maintenance and replacement of the Fry -Ark Project. <br />vii. Aurora shall bear its own costs for any efforts necessary to <br />secure its own contract or contracts for use of Fry -Ark <br />Project facilities, and shall be responsible for compliance <br />with all terms and conditions imposed by the United States <br />in any such contract. <br />16 <br />
