SECWCD <br />May 20, 2004 <br />2 <br />i- <br />RECORD OF PROCEEDING <br />APPROVAL OF AE NMS: <br />President Everett asked if the members of the Board had received their copy of the minutes of <br />the April 15 and May 13, 2004 Board meetings, and if there were any corrections or additions. <br />Hearing none, Mr. Goodwin moved, seconded by Mr. Schrader, to approve the minutes. Motion <br />unanimously carried. President Everett then asked for approval of the Executive Session minutes <br />for April 15 and May 13, 2004. Mr. Schrader moved seconded by Mr. Simpson, to accept the <br />Executive Session minutes. Motion unanimously carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT: <br />Treasurer Simpson reported the financial report for the month of April 2004 was mailed to the <br />Board and moved, seconded by Mr. Stealey, to approve the financial report for April and <br />approve payment of the May bills. Motion unanimously carried. <br />PRESIDENT'S REPORT: <br />President Everett said he had appointed Board members to serve on the District's committees <br />and a copy was in their binders for review. He asked if any member would like to be omitted or <br />added to a committee to inform him within the next couple of weeks. <br />Mr. Broderick said the Executive Committee is the only committee that requires acceptance of <br />the Board. Mr. Hazard moved, seconded by Mr. Stealey, to accept the appointments President <br />Everett made for the Executive Committee members. Motion unanimously carried. <br />Lee Miller explained that in the process last month of electing officers, the office of Assistant <br />Secretary/Treasurer was not recognized. In past years the Executive Director has been elected in <br />that capacity. Mr. Aschermann moved, seconded by Mr. Simpson, to elect Mr. Broderick to <br />serve as Assistant Secretary/Treasurer.
