Minnesota, Louisiana, and <br />Florida contributed nearly 45 percent of <br />the total acreage reported. Every state <br />contributed to this indicator. <br />Indicator: Land where measures to <br />improve wildlife were applied: <br />Target: 9,278,000 acres <br />Actual: 11,786,000 acres <br />Analysis: The target was exceeded by <br />27 percent. This application correlates <br />with areas where large ranches are fol- <br />lowing prescribed grazing practices.
