PSOP Meeting Minutes — August 31, 2004 <br />Page 2 <br />Jerry Gibbens with MWH informed the group he is working on a modeling program run by water <br />rights, data period is from 1982 -03. The model is in the process of simulating accuracy and <br />eventually can be considered for use with PSOP. <br />Phil handed out an updated PSOP budget for 2005 (exhibit 1), indicating that it would not affect <br />the 2005 budget. Since the NEPA process has not been completed the funds for the budget will <br />carryover to 2005. The Fry -Ark Land Use & Recreation Study will begin in 2005 as will the <br />budget for that item. The changes in the PSOP budget allocation are that Security dropped their <br />PSOP storage from 3,000 to 1,500 a.f and it is possible Fountain will do the same. Excess <br />Capacity (Reops) carried over Y2 million from 2003. The Lower Arkansas Valley Water <br />Conservancy Districts participation in PSOP is ongoing. <br />Orville Tomky asked Alan Ward if Twin Lakes would be willing to work with the agricultural <br />communities to exchange stored water. <br />The next meeting is scheduled for September 28, 2004 at 10:30 a.m., to coincide with the <br />Arkansas Valley Conduit meeting.
