Mr. Meador then covered the cost allocation approaches to include repayment <br />ranges and potential grants and loans. Discussion followed and it was agreed that <br />members should review the information and a meeting was scheduled for further <br />discussion. <br />LEGISLATIVE UPDATE <br />Mrs. Arbogast reported that a letter signed by at least eighty S natofs`was being <br />circulated in an effort to move the Water Resources and DeY-61:-Mrient Authorization <br />(WRDA) bill forward. If that legislation is authorized than the Arkansas Valley Conduit <br />would be in line for possible appropriations as early 4s. , October of 2006. However, she <br />warned that there are probably less than sixty days-j�i �r the 2006 Cob-- ress session. <br />She noted that a group would be going back to Washington D.C., possibly -44e week of <br />March 6. <br />NEXT MEETING <br />The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, March <br />jQO <br />,0- am at the City Municipal <br />Building in La Junta. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 am. <br />Phil Reynolds Date <br />
