SECWCD <br />December 13, 2005 <br />RECORD OF PROCEEDING <br />SOUTHEASTERN COLORADO WATER <br />CONSERVANCY DISTRICT <br />MINUTES <br />December 13, 2005 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Southeastern Colorado Water Conservancy District was <br />held on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 11:20 a.m., at the District office, 31717 United Avenue, Pueblo, <br />Colorado. <br />President Stealey announced a quorum was present. <br />DIRECTORS PRESENT: <br />Wally Stealey <br />Robert Schrader <br />Carl Genova <br />Lee Simpson <br />Edward Bailey <br />Harold Miskel <br />Carl McClure <br />Denzel Goodwin <br />John O'Donnell <br />Howard Miller <br />Scott Reed <br />Reed Dils <br />DIRECTORS ABSENT AND EXCUSED: <br />Gibson Hazard, Bill Long, and Vera Orteg6n; and Alan Hamel, Advisory Board Member <br />DISTRICT OFFICIALS PRESENT: <br />Attorneys Stephen Leonhardt and Lee Miller; Executive Director James Broderick; Administrative <br />Manager Toni Gonzales; Projects Manager Phil Reynolds; Finance Manager Kathie Fanning; Director of <br />Engineering & Resource Management Bob Hamilton; Engineering Support Specialist Margie Miller; and <br />Federal lobbyists Ray Kogovsek and Christine Arbogast. <br />INTRODUCTION OF VISITORS: <br />President Stealey welcomed the visitors to the meeting, and asked them to introduce themselves and <br />identify the organization they represented. <br />VISITORS PRESENT: <br />Chris Woodka, The Pueblo Chieftain; Tom Musgrove and Roy Vaughan, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation; <br />Tom Simpson, Aurora; Bill Yohey, Kiowa County Commissioners office; Shirley Klipfel, Beulah; and <br />Ken Baker, Upper Arkansas Water Conservancy District. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br />President Stealey asked if the members of the Board had received their copy of the minutes of the <br />November 17, 2005 Board meeting, and if there were any corrections or additions. Hearing none, Mr. <br />Goodwin moved, seconded by Mr. Bailey, to approve the minutes. Motion unanimously carried. <br />
