THIS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) is made and entered <br />into this day of , 19_, by and among: the <br />Arizona Department of Water Resources, the Colorado River Board <br />of California, the Colorado River Commission of Nevada, the Now <br />Mexico Interstate Stream Commission, the Utah Division of Water <br />Resources, the Colorado Water Conservation ^-'evade Ri3pa. Board <br />of the state of Colorado, and the Wyoming State Engineers Office; <br />all of which at times are referred to as "Basin states "; and the <br />Bureau of Reclamation, hereinafter referred to as "Reclamation ", <br />pursuant to the Act of Congress approved June 17, 1902, <br />(32 Stat. 388), and acts amendatory thereof or supplementary <br />thereto, all of Which acts are commonly known and referred to as <br />Reclamattion Law, and particularly pursuant to the Colorado River <br />Basin Project Act of 1968 (43 U.S.C., Stat. 1501). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />2. a. WHEREAS, the Reclamation and the Basin States seek the <br />development of a program plan to describe the technical basis, <br />and the activities and costs required to conduct a precipitation <br />management demonstration activity (program Plan) ; and <br />b. WHEREAS, $90,000 of federal funds have been made <br />available to match with $91,000 in non - federal funds as described <br />in the Agreement to develop said Program Plan; and <br />9 <br />
