THIS AGREEMENT is made. and entered into this day of <br />19 , by and among: the Colorado River Comm�ssi,on of <br />Naves the Utah Division of Water Resources, the Central Arizona <br />Water Conservation District, the Six Agency Committee, and the <br />Upper Colorado River Commission; all of which at times are <br />referred to as "Cooperating Partners "; and the Bureau of <br />Reclamation, hereinafter referred to as "Reclamation ", all of <br />which are at times collectively referred to as "Parties ", <br />pursuant to the Act of Congress approved June 17, 1902, (32 Stat. <br />388), and acts amendatory thereof or supplementary thereto, all <br />of which acts are commonly known and referred to as Reclamation <br />Late, and particularly pursuant to the Colorado River Basin <br />Project Act of 1968 (43 U.S.C., Stat. 1501), and the act of <br />March 4, 1922 referred to as the Contributed Funds Act. <br />WITNESSETH! <br />2. A. WHEREAS, the Parties seek the development of a program 41 <br />plan to describe the technical basis, and the Activities and <br />coats required to conduct a precipitation management <br />demonstration activity (Program Plan); and <br />b. WHEREAS, $90,000 of federal funds are available to match <br />With $91,000 in non - federal funds to develop said Program Plan; <br />and <br />C. WHEREAS, a "Steering Committee" as described in the <br />attached Memorandum of Understanding (Attachment A) shall be <br />formed to provide direction in the development of said Program <br />Plan. <br />
