I '9 19 5 1 <br />COLORADO WATOR <br />CONSRVATION 90ARD <br />Following the Hearing on the proposed Glendo Dam before the 7,7yoming <br />Natural Resource Board in ".1heatland on July 16th, at the executive <br />Meeting on July 17th, it was moved, seconded and carried "that the <br />Board reiterate its approval of the letter of its Director to <br />Mr. Avery Batson, Director, Region #7, Bureau of Reclamation, dated <br />June 11, 1951 ". A copy of this letter is attached hereto to all <br />except Board members who have received copies. <br />Under the circumstances, it would seem that this Batson ]getter of . <br />June 11, 1951, should be considered as the comments of Viyoming on the <br />definite plan report of the Bureau of Reclamation on Glendo Unit <br />Oregon Trail Division of the North Platte River District, Missouri <br />River Basin Project. <br />Wyoming will be agreeable to meet with the other states and discuss the <br />permit application to be submitted by the Bureau as suggested by you <br />at the Denver meeting. <br />In view of the flood control features of the Project, we believe the <br />Army Engineers should be requested to participate in any future negotia- <br />tions for Glendo Project. In addition to informing you of theiir action, <br />following the Hearing, the 1,7yomin g Natural Resource Board requested me <br />to inform you of thei r appreciation for the cooperation of your depart- <br />ment in making a detailed presentation of the plans proposed for Glendo <br />Dam. <br />L.
