Flood of August 27, 1907.- The storm causing,; tiais flood occurred <br />in the vicinity- of Genesee oantain. 3rid,;es on Bear Creep suffered ex- <br />tensive da:na.,_e, all of them from Evergreen to Morrison being was icd out, <br />as were two Colorado and Southern Railroad bridges at ?iorrison; i:rhile <br />several more between i:or-rison and the mouth suffered the same fate. On <br />Mt. Vernon Creel, several brides were washed out and a reservoir above <br />- orrison was destroyed. <br />55. Flood of AuE,ust 20, 150,.- ^his flood is believed to have orig- <br />inated from a. storm. occurring near aenesee f�'io stain. Reoorted damages were <br />that a Colorado and Southern Railroad bridge was aasll.ed out at ilor:'ison, <br />and that 7,000 damage was L_C11C Go roads for 7 miles above Morrison. <br />56. Flood of June 7 or ,, 1021.- A :tear cloudburst in Bear Creek <br />Canyon bet,reen Evergreen and Morrison caused a minor flood on Bear Creek, <br />but apparently little damage '.ras done. <br />57. Flood of July 16, 1923.- The only information available on this <br />flood states that Bear Creek Canyon was subject to a heavy stormy and part <br />of the Colorado and Southern Railroad Bridge was crashed out at Cowan. <br />59. Flood of Augaist 30, 1925.- Apparently the storm causing this <br />flood was rather eaera.1 over the lower central portion of the basin,, as <br />the flood%,Pters ware reLJorted to have come fro,.i three different locali- <br />ties; namely the gulches in and near 1orrison, Idle ale, and Cub Oreek. <br />Re?)orted damages included the crashing array of a steel bridge over Bear <br />Creek at Co,,ian, and the flooding; of cellars in Iorrison. <br />59. Flood of July 7, 1933. -- A cloudburst over Sawmill Gulch and <br />Jt. Vernon Creek caused extensive flooding, alon-; both Boar Creek and Pit. <br />.. <br />
