Those
priorities are posted at the URL at the end of this message, and also listed here:
Priority 1: Why are the Humpback chub not thriving, and what can we do about it? How many Humpback
chub are there and how are they doing?
Priority 2: Which cultural resources, including TCPs, are within the APE, which should we treat, and how do
we best protect them? What are the status and trends of cultural resources and what are the agents of
deterioration?
Priority 3: What is the best flow regime?
Priority 4: What is the impact of sediment loss and what should we do about it?
Priority 5: What will happen when we test or implement the TCD? How should it be operated? Are
safeguards needed for management?
BUDGET PROCESS
The budget process as recommended by TWG, and the motion TWG passed with regard to the budget
process, are attached and posted on the URL listed below. After reviewing the TWG's recommended budget
process, please do the following:
• If you have questions, please talk with your TWG member or TWG Chair Shane Capron. There will be very
little time during the webinar to answer questions.
• If you have proposed changes to the budget process, please send them to Linda Whetton
(Iwhetton Qusbr.gov) and Mary Orton (mary(a)maaorton.com) BY CLOSE OF BUSINESS FRIDAY, APRIL
23. We will then be able to load your comments for the webinar and also distribute them to the other
AMWG members, so they can prepare for the meeting.
FY11 -12 PRELIMINARY BUDGET
AMWG will give TWG feedback on the proposed FYI 1-12 budget during the webinar. TWG passed a motion
with 17 "issues of concern" on which they request your feedback. The budget spreadsheet, the TWG motion,
and Reclamation's and GCMRC's comments on the TWG motion are attached and posted at the URL at the
end of this message. You will want to discuss these issues in detail with your TWG member as soon as
possible.
Because we have only three hours for this meeting, there will not be presentations on the budget. This makes
it crucial that you identify your questions as soon as possible, and if your TWG member is not able to answer
them, that you contact Dennis Kubly or John Hamill with your questions, depending on whether the question is
about the Reclamation budget or the GCMRC budget. Please be sure to have your questions answered in
advance of the webinar.
If you want to bring up an item with regard to the draft budget that is not already listed on the TWG list of
"issues of concern," please send it in advance of the meeting to Linda Whetton (IwhettonCcr)uc.usbr.gov) and to
Mary Orton (mary(@,maryorton.com). The deadline is CLOSE OF BUSINESS FRIDAY, April 23. The issues
we receive, if any, will be distributed to the full group in advance, and this deadline is based on the time
needed to post or distribute an aggregated list and for you to have time to review it. During the webinar, we will
address those issues that were sent in by the deadline first. If time allows, we will address other issues brought
up by AMWG members.
