Reading and Approval of the Minutes <br />The Commissioners unanimously waived reading of the minutes of the Meeting of June 17, <br />2004. Commissioner Mutz moved that the minutes be approved and the motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Tyrrell and unanimously approved. <br />Report of the Chairman <br />Chairman Bratton welcomed Carol Angel as the newly appointed chairperson of the Legal <br />Committee since the resignation of Jennifer Gimble. <br />Report of the Secretary <br />Mr. Ostler distributed a written report discussing the following topics: <br />1. Activities Since Last Meeting: <br />a. Glen Canyon Adaptive Management Meetings <br />b. Discussions with Reclamation/Western Concerning Annual Release <br />Volumes from Lake Powell <br />c. Urban Water Panel Discussions in California <br />f. Annual Operating Plan Meeting <br />g. Two Commission Work Meetings Included Both the Legal and <br />Engineering Committees <br />h. Shortage Policies <br />3. Future activities <br />Agency Reports <br />A. Rick Gold, U. S. Bureau of Reclamation, Salt Lake City gave an oral presentation highlighting a <br />report that he handed out at the Commission meeting. His report addressed the following subjects: <br />1. Upper Colorado River Basin Hydrology -- overview of the Colorado River Basin and the <br />Effects Five Years of Drought Have Had on the Basin <br />2. Glen Canyon Dam — Lake Powell Operations, Proposed Releases <br />3. Colorado River Storage Project. Storage Percentages for Lake Powell, Flaming Gorge, <br />Navajo and Blue Mesa. <br />4. 2005 Annual Operating Plan and Proposed Language <br />5. Update on Monthly Release Volumes From Lake Powell <br />6. Status of Experimental Flows From Glen Canyon Dam <br />7. Status of Proposed Beach/Habitat- Building Flows <br />8.
