Employment, Public Health and Environment, and Transportation. <br />Their positions are classified as Environmental Protection <br />Specialists (EnPS) and Physical Science Researcher /Scientists <br />(PSR /S). <br />A second complaint was filed on behalf of other impacted state <br />classified employees and the Colorado Federation of Public <br />Employees. A third complaint was filed pro se by additional state <br />classified employees. <br />Designated as Defendants in all three complaints were the <br />Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Personnel and the <br />Colorado Department of Personnel. <br />On August 21, 1998, Defendants filed their answer. On <br />September 9, 1998, the three cases were consolidated into Case No. <br />98CV5863. <br />On August 31, 1998, the administrative record was filed in <br />Case No. 98CV5935. The briefing schedule was set upon the district <br />court entering its order consolidating the cases into Case No. <br />98CV5863. <br />B. Facts of the Case <br />Plaintiffs are employed by the state of Colorado as <br />Environmental Protection Specialists (EnPS) and Physical Science <br />Researcher /Scientists (PSR /S).
