Appropriation date: P�iority #157, June 1, 1874 & priori#y #158, June 1, 1876. <br />Adjudicafion date: Feb 23, 1898 as Killian Decree for 1.Q cfm used for iRigation. Uecreed point <br />of �iversion: Section 8, Township 27 South, Range 70 West of the 8"' PM, Huerfano County, <br />CO {dam & head gate location). <br />The water body affected is the augmentation storage pond #1 supplied by an unnamed tributary <br />to Pass Greek, appropriated in 1959 wi#h a storage capacity of 10 AF. Point of Diversion: NE '/. <br />SE '/4 Section 4, Township 28 Sauth, Range 70 West of the 6`� PM, Huerfano County, CO. Pand <br />#1 was ariginally cons#n.i+cted in the iate 195�s for erosion contro{ putposes. <br />Applicants 115th interest in the Lewis Ditch was changed from irrigaiion to use for augmentation <br />of depletions to Pass Creek caused though the use of Houchin Well #3 and to augment surface <br />evaporation losses #rom Pond #1 due to out of priarity diversians to the pand. Howchin Well #3 <br />currerrtly senres as a patable water supply for single #amily dwellings at Paradise Acres focated <br />just north and we5t of ta Veta Pass aff of Huerfano county road 57`2. AI! residences at Paradise <br />Acres are on individual septic systems and horneowner covenants prohibit autside irrigation. A <br />maximum of 70 residences can be served by this augmentation plan. <br />Said Augmentation Plan, Case # 99CW129, was approved in CO Districi Court, Water �ivision <br />2 b� Judge John E. Anderson, iit and filed on May 31, 20QE?. The water rights supply source is a <br />1/5 interest in l.ewis Ditch. <br />On Aug 29, 2045, th� developer deeded 50GPM af Hvuchin Wel! #3 to PAHA to assure <br />suff'rcient water for the f rst 70 homes built as stated in the augmentation plan. <br />On Sept 19, 2005, the developer deeded wat�r system facilities along wit#� a 100' by 100' plot <br />that the well house is laca#�d on #o PAHA. <br />On Nav 4, 2005, the developer deeded the property that augmentation pond is located on to <br />PAHA. <br />4n Aug 29, 2006, the developer deeded fhe water rights at Lewis Qitch to PAHA. <br />A cctpy of the water right desd is included as Appendix C. <br />Page 6 of 14 <br />
