' <br />' <br />Vegetation <br />' At the tiine of inspection the water level of the reservou• was very low. Approximately half of the <br />reservoir basin was exposed. The exposed areas contained an herbaceous wet meadow that is <br />, characterized by shortawn foxtail (Alopecirrars aequcclis). The upper transition of the reservoir is <br />dominated by a shrub wetland, which is characterized by the presence of mountain willow (Salix <br />' monticola) and Geyer willow (Sc�lix geyeriana). The floodplain wetland located below the dam is <br />characterized by mountain willow (Salix monticola) with interinittent upland areas characterized by <br />' Engelmann spruce (Picea engelmannii) and Idaho redtop (Agrostis idahoensis). Areas identified as <br />potential fens are generally characterized by water sedge (Carex ac�uatilis), beaked sedge (Carex <br />utriculata), and Canada reedgrass (Calamagrostis canadensis). The dry hillsides of the valley above the <br />' reservoir are dominated by aspen, spruce and fir. Table 2 below is a list of dominant and characteristic <br />species observed onsite. <br />' Table 2.
