FINDINGS Waters of the U.S. Sugnet staff delineated 227.94 acres of wetlands and other WOUS within the study area. As explained above the areas located below the OHWM of the reservou• have been labeled as Open Water (OW) regardless of their physical condition during the time of the site assessment. The OW area totals 1,034.40 acres which does not include the stream areas. 13,705 linear feet (1.20 acres) of Upper Perennial Streambed (R3SB) and 2,418 linear feet (037 arces) of Intermittent Streambed (R4SB) have been delineated. Other small ephemeral channels e;cist within the floodplain which may ar may not be active diuing spring runoff. Most of these areas were simply included as floodplani wetland area. Sugnet did not distingt�ish between specific types of wetland communities except for the identification of two poteutial fen wetlands (see Figure 3b atid 3c). , Table 1 below lists the acreage and linear footage of Water of the US as classified in accordance with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) classification system for wetlands and deepwater habitats , (Cowardin et al. 1979). The delineated areas are also depicted graphically on Figure 5 within Attachment A. Table 1.
