Table 3 shows that the summer recommendation of 10.0 cfs is available at least 50% of the time
from April 15th - October 31st and the winter recommendation of 4.4 cfs is available November
1St April 14th
Precipitation Data
Staff reviewed local precipitation data sets from two different sites located around the South
Fork South Platte River Drainage (see Precipitation Data in Appendix C). These sites include
Antero Reservoir (1961 -1999) and Buena Vista (1931- 1999). Table 4 shows the water year and
the percent of average precipitation recorded at each site.

Table 4 shows a slight variation of precipitation between the two relatively close precipitation
sites. It is staff's opinion that the two years of stream -flow data analyzed is representative of
average to slightly above average water - years.
