Adjust seal and <br />stops as required. <br />Operate valves under actual flow conditions to verify ability to hold <br />valve-opening position, smooth and positive movement and rate of <br />open control, proper stops, and seal adjustment. Check motor <br />temperature of the valve operator motor after full load operation. <br />Verify electrical phase loads and voltages. Leave Valve House and <br />surrounding area clean and acceptable to the District. Remove all <br />construction equipment, left over supplies, debris, garbage, etc. <br />Repair any damage done to District's equipment, facilities, and <br />grounds. <br />Total � $296,200 <br />CWCB Approval <br />CWCB approved staff recommendation on September 17, 2008 for a grant not to exceed $50,000 from <br />the Rio Grande Basin Account and $200,000 from the Statewide Account to help complete the Platoro <br />Reservoir Restoration project. <br />District's Funding Participation <br />The District has completed nearly $411,725 in improvements in previous phases of this project. The <br />District will cover all costs of the valve replacement, which exceed WSRA grant funding limits. <br />Schedule <br />If WSRA funding is in place by May 1, 2009, the District anticipates ordering the new valves and taking <br />delivery around September 1, 2009. Installation will begin around October 15, 2009 and be completed <br />within 90 days. <br />Payment <br />Payment will be made based on actual expenditures and invoicing by the water activity sponsor. The <br />request for payment must include a description of the work accomplished by major task, and estimate of <br />the percent completion for individual tasks and the entire water activity in relation to the percentage of <br />budget spent, identification of any major issues and proposed or implemented corrective actions. The last <br />5 percent of the entire water activity budget will be withheld until iinal project/water activity <br />documentation is completed. <br />All products, data and information developed as a result of this grant must be provided to CWCB in hard <br />copy and electronic format as part of the project documentation. <br />� <br />
