(WM)are in the process of preparing a Water Conservation <br /> Plan, according to the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB)'s 9 Step approach,as outlined in the <br /> District's grant application. During this process,the Entities and WM have made every effort to compile <br /> the data as accurately as possible,and to review current and potential new conservation programs and <br /> measures so as to create a valuable plan that will enable the Entities'future conservation efforts,and <br /> their implementation and tracking. <br /> Step#1—Profile Existing Water System <br /> As reported in April,the system profile is complete. <br /> Step 2—Develop a Water Use Profile and Forecast Future Water Demand <br /> As reported in April,the profile and forecast are complete. <br /> Step 3—Profile Proposed Facilities <br /> Profiling proposed facilities is complete. As reported in April, major proposed facilities will occur <br /> beyond the scope of this Plan. Should that timetable change,those changes will be reflected in the Plan <br /> update. <br /> Step 4—Identify Conservation Goals <br /> As reported in April,this step is complete. <br /> Step 5—Identify conservation measures and conservation measures <br /> As reported in April,this step is complete. <br /> Step 6—Evaluate and select conservation programs and measures <br /> This step is 75%complete. Cost benefit analyses have been performed on the measures and programs <br /> to be considered. Evaluation criteria have been selected. An approximate budget has been prepared <br /> for each entity to follow during implementation of the Plan. The Entities and WM have met to discuss <br /> how ordinances can be written and amended so that the Entities have matching,and more effective <br />
