TASK 3— Wiring pump house
Description of Task
Install the wiring and conduit, and equipment inside the pump house for lighting, outlets,
heat, and to supply power to the pumping equipment.
This work was completed by Phillips Electric
Total cost: $7,500
There were also some costs such as project oversight, engineering, and water storage tanks
that were beyond what the grant had money available for. These are costs that the System
must find others sources of funding to pay for. The new system is completely on line. The well
pump fills a 300 gallon tank in the pump house where chlorination is added. The water then
flows into two vertical 300 gallon storage tanks. Inside each vertical tank is a VFD booster
pump. These pumps in conjunction with two pressure tanks provide constant pressure to the
system. The system is working wonderfully and providing excellent water and water pressure to
the members. The System greatly appreciates the financial help received.
ThankYou,
Jesse Wray
and
Happy Scenes Water System Board and Members
December 9th, 2009
