Department of Agriculture -- Natural. Resources Conservation Service - Snow <br />Survey Program (NRCS) operates a network of 111 SNDTEL sites in Colorado. The <br />NRCS neaps the State's snowpack suspension criteria for all 8NC7►`I'EL sites on a daily <br />Tile Transfer protocol (F CP) site for Corrado, The Permit Haider must. check this <br />NRCS F rP site regularly and coordinate with the CWCB to suspend operations when <br />warranted, <br />The NRCS is moving, the long term (30- Year) average of SNOTEL sites from the 1971 <br />2000 data to the 1981- 20101 data by the end of 2012. The NRCS will update the <br />snowpack SF values and rnaing that are used for State's seeding suspension <br />criteria. <br />As of 2010o the NRCS is using the 1971 -2000 snowpack SWE data. The values below <br />am the actual SWE values (black) and snowpack SWE thresholds (red) that will be <br />monitored and snapped for suspension criteria. The data will also be shown in a spatial <br />snap provided by the NRCS daily via FTP site.
