Wintertime cloud seeding in the Colorado River Basin is now being supported by the CWCB <br />and water users in Nevada, California, Arizona, and New Mexico pursuant to Colorado River <br />Seven Basin States water augmentation initiative. In order to receive funding, the Permit <br />Holder must comply with the provisions in the base agreement and annual amendments, <br />executed fully on March 21, 2007, between the Six Agency Committee, the Central Arizona <br />Water Conservation District, the Southern Nevada Water Authority, and the New Mexico <br />Interstate Stream Commission,, and the CWl3. <br />t 1. The Permit Holder shall maintain a valid general liability insurance policy for 1 million dollars <br />($1,000,000.00). The Permit Holder is required to add all Project Sponsors and Parties to the <br />Agreements as additionally insured if using CWCB and Lower Basin funding. <br />12. This Permit is subject to changes by the State, DNR, and CWC 3 if any of the terms or <br />conditions are inadequate to provide accurate monitoring and appropriate suspension criteria. <br />The +CWCB can amend this Permit if new suspension criteria are appropriate. — <br />1.3. The Permit Holder is required to maintain Global Positioning Systems data, including latitude, <br />longitude, and elevations for each generator location in Microsoft Excel format and keep the <br />information current and available to Praaect Sponsors and the CWCB, along with the <br />operational plan and annual reporting. <br />14. The Permit Holder shall notify the County Emergency Managers in the target area counties <br />prior to seeding each ;season. The notification shall include the contact information of the <br />Permit Holder, details of the operational plan and a mW of the program. Copies of those <br />letters must be appended to the annual report~ <br />IS. The Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) has completed a Sunset Review on October <br />15t 2010 of the States Weather Modification Statutes and recommended a nine -year renewal of <br />the State's statutes. DORA recommended promulgation of new State weather rmodtfication . <br />runes and reguladons. This permit may be revised, changed or updated based on the State <br />legislative bill to renew the Weather Modification Act and the promulgation of new State rules <br />and regulations. <br />16. The Permit Holder shall prepare and maintain the following records and make them available to <br />the public, Information in annual reports shall include but are not limited to the following: <br />A. Detailed reporting on funding received from all sources for operations. <br />Q. A daily record of operations, documentation of meteorological conditions, information on <br />which "seedtno i" decisions are based, seeding logic for every generator in operation, <br />daily and Natal chemical solution used, and information used in "snowpack snow water <br />equivalent" C6SWF') and avalanche suspension decisions. <br />C. Copies the SNOTEL suspensi <br />of on criteria snaps hosted on the website of the MRCS Snow <br />Survey Program website for every day during times that operations are suspended. <br />3 <br />
