File COOP District -436 00 <br />Tamarack Recharge and Wildlife Habitat Project <br />NCWCD Contact Jon Altenhofen <br />Contact Person Jay Stafford <br />CONTRACT <br />PBA n <br />Routing 4 <br />Amount $209 000 00 <br />Fund CC <br />THIS CONTRACT, made this -I , day of Nnu C"be.r , 1999 between the State of Colorado <br />acting by and through the Department of Natural Resources for the use and benefit of the Division <br />of Wildlife, hereinafter referred to as the "State," whose address is 6060 Broadway, Denver, CO <br />80216, and Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District, hereinafter referred to as "NCWCD" <br />whose address is P O Box 679, Loveland, Colorado 80539 <br />WHEREAS, required approval, clearance and coordination have been accomplished from and with <br />appropriate agencies, and the authority exists in the State law and funds have been budgeted, <br />appropriated and otherwise made available and a sufficient unencumbered balance thereof remains <br />available for payment in Fund Number 461 Agency PBA Org Unit 5503 App Code 739, Program <br />0490 GBL 9858 Obj Code 5180 in the amount of $209,000 00 , Contract Encumbrance Number <br />C oy , and <br />WHEREAS, the Colorado Division of Wildlife has granted funding for this cooperative project to <br />accomplish the projects described in Exhibit A, and <br />WHEREAS, the State and NCWCD have agreed to continue the cooperative development of <br />recharge facilities at Tamarack Ranch State Wildlife Area under the scope of the "Tamarack Project" <br />for multiple wildlife, wetland, and recharge benefits, and <br />WHEREAS, these cooperative projects, as set forth in Exhibit A, attached and incorporated herein <br />by this reference, will develop and enhance wetland habitats for wildlife species in Colorado, and <br />enhance recharge and streamflow augmentation for the protection of existing water supplies utilized <br />by water users within Colorado and for the benefit of threatened and endangered species <br />NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby agreed that <br />Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District Shall <br />A Provide, at its cost, all administrative, supervisory, procurement, construction <br />engineering and oversight services necessary to complete the construction projects <br />described in Exhibit A NCWCD will provide up to 500 hours of services by <br />NCWCD personnel for project construction <br />B Procure all equipment, materials, construction services and other similar items for <br />the construction projects described in Exhibit A, using the funds provided by the <br />Page 1 of 6 pages <br />
