Attachment A <br />Grand Mesa Reservoir Company ---�- <br />Grand Mesa. Reservoir Company was formed and incorporated on Septemiber 11, 1�88. Grand <br />Mesa Reservoir Company owns the vvater rights in s� reservoirs on Grand Mesa, with a total <br />capacity of 1,595 Acre Feet. They fnclude Scales Reservcsir #1 (203 Acre Feet), Scales Reservoir <br />#3 (129 Acre Feet), Grand Mesa #6 (172 Acre Feet�, Grand Mesa #8 (379 Acre Feet), Gr�nd <br />Mesa #9 (1S3 Acre Feet) and Grand Mesa #1 (S59 Acre Feet). The su� reservoirs release their <br />water into the headwater of Kannah Creek, which flows approximately seven miles to the first <br />turr�out of the water into irrigatian ditches. Th�se turnouts then continue for approximately 10 <br />more miles along Kannah Creek. The water irrigates lands throughout the Kannah Creek Valley. <br />�cales #1, Scales #3, Grand Mesa. #6 and Grand Mesa #8 have had e�ctensive work done to each <br />over the �ast years. In 195$ and 1959, Scales #1's dam was reworked and a new outiet instatted. <br />In 1996, Grand Mesa #6's dam was reworked and a new outlet installed. Tn 19$6, �'irand Mesa <br />#8's dam was completely rebuil# with a new outlet. <br />Grand Mesa #1 requires a new outlet valve and piping along with grouting to stop a leak in the <br />dam. The reservoir crest and spillway need rewarked. C�rand Mesa #9 requires the outlet piping <br />and valve be reworked along with crest and spillway work. <br />
