development of the entire area west of 35th Avenue in the drainage basin.
As a part of this report, reproducible drawings of the entire area between
23rd Avenue and 35th Avenue have been prepared to show the exact details of
the "Master Drainage Plan ". These separate drawings show all proposed
streets with appropriate drainage pattern, location, and size of proposed
storm sewers, location and size of retention ponds, proposed limits of the
"strip park ", and the size and type of all existing drainage facilities.
Basically the "Master Drainage Plan" consists of (1) a "Strip Park"
from (2)to(6 ) containing an open drainage channel and two retention ponds,
(2) a by -pass channel or pipe from 0 to a , and (3) controlled street
grades to divert the water from critical are,a''s..
An earth -fill dam constructed at point{ 3) along the alignment of 20th
Street will serve two purposes.
