LOAN APPLICATION REPORT <br />NORTH POUDRE IRRIGATION COMPANY <br />1. THE COMPANY. <br />Organization. The North Poudre Irrigation Company is a Colorado <br />corporation which was initially incorporated in 1901. The company has per- <br />petual existence, the power to collect assessments on stock, the right of <br />Eminent Domain, and the right to contract with the United States Government <br />for a loan to construct this proposed project. <br />Capitol stock of the company totals 10, 000 shares, with a par value of <br />$50. 00 per share. <br />Financial. The general financial status of the company is excellent. <br />As of December 31, 1964, the total assets of the company were $2, 998, 164. 93, <br />total current liabilities were $61, 249. 56 and net capitol and surplus was <br />$2, 936, 915. 37. ` <br />Physical Assets. The company owns, operates and maintains 24 <br />storage reservoirs and approximately 200 miles of ditches, together with other <br />physical assets such as real estate, buildings and equipment. <br />2. PROTECT LANDS. The lands under the North Poudre Irrigation Company's <br />system lie in the north central part of Colorado, gust north of the City of Ft. Collins, <br />Colorado, in Larimer County. Of the approximately 42, 000 acres of irrigable land <br />under the system, 33, 797 acres are presently being irrigated. <br />Climate.
