things necessary to be done under and by virtue of its corporate powers <br />and to do the business and carry out the objects and purposes herein- <br />before set forth. <br />(g) To acquire and become the owner of, by grant, purchase, <br />lease or otherwise, the land embraced in the site of what is commonly <br />known as Fossil Creek reservoir basin, in Larimer County, Colorado, <br />also to develop said basin, having an estimated acreage at high water mark <br />of 705, 3 acres and a cubical capacity for holding 490, 000, 000 cubic feet <br />of water, by the construction of dams, embankments, outlet delivery gates, <br />waste ways, and outlet and inlet ditches, so that the same shall be rendered <br />a complete and perfected irrigation reservoir, also to acquire the rights of <br />way for and to construct necessary outlet and inlet ditches, to fill said res- <br />ervoir and to refill the same from time to time indefinitely throughout the <br />corporate life of this corporation, from the water otherwise unappropriated <br />from Fossil Creek and from the Cache la Poudre River, also to appropriate <br />by means of said reservoir and its outlet and inlet ditches, all unappropriated <br />waters, both from Fossil Creek and from the Cache la Poudre River, in <br />Irrigation District No, 3, for the purposes aforesaid, also to conduct <br />water stored in said reservoir from time to time by the nearest practical <br />route to the Cache la_ Poudre, and to dispose of said water for irrigation <br />purposes to those desiring to use the same, and to receive in exchange there- <br />for the equivalent amount of water to be delivered at the headgate of the <br />I -4 <br />
