(DICK) STENZEL, P.E. <br />Senior Water Resource Engineer <br />Chief of the Water Management Branch <br />State Engineer's Office, Denver Colorado (19821989) <br />Directed the review of subdivision water supply plans and mining permit applications on a statewide basis. <br />Also supervised and was personally involved in the review by the Division of Water Resources of all <br />applications made to Water Court on a statewide basis. Involved in the analysis and negotiations with <br />attorneys and consultants in those cases that the State Engineer's Office was a party. <br />Water Resources Engineer <br />State Engineer's Office, Denver Colorado (1977 -1982) <br />Responsible for evaluation of the adequacy of water supply plans for proposed subdivisions on a statewide <br />basis. Also reviewed mining applications to see if they were in compliance with state statutes. In addition, <br />reviewed substitute water supply plans submitted to the State Engineer to see if they were in compliance with <br />state statutes and made sure that plans protected vested water rights in the stream system affected. <br />Project Planner <br />Corps of Engineer's, Omaha, Nebraska (1966 -1976) <br />Responsible for analyzing flood protection projects in the Omaha District. Determined the engineering and <br />economic feasibility of potential projects being considered for construction. <br />
