There are no decreed surface <br />diversions within this reach of stream. According to the DEO, there is usually sufficient water <br />available within this stream reach to satisfy the recommended instream flow amount. Based on <br />this analysis, staff has determined that water is available for appropriation on the South Fork <br />Smith Fork Gunnison River, from the headwaters to the confluence of the North Fork Smith Fork <br />Gunnison River, to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree without limiting or <br />foreclosing the exercise of valid existing water rights. <br />a Me <br />
