1 (3) the Department of Agriculture, with sub - <br />2 stantial public input, has reviewed the wilderness po- <br />3 tential of these and other areas; and <br />4 (4) the Congress has made its own examination <br />5 of National Forest System roadless areas in the <br />6 State of Colorado and of the environmental impacts <br />7 associated with alternative allocations of such areas. <br />8 (b) On the basis of such review, the Congress hereby <br />9 determines and directs that - <br />10 (1) with respect to the National Forest System <br />11 lands in the State of Colorado that were reviewed by <br />12 the Department of Agriculture in wilderness studies <br />13 conducted pursuant to Pubic Law 95 -237, Public <br />14 Law 96 -560, and section 12(g) of Public Law 98- <br />15 141, and the initial land and resource management <br />16 plans, such reviews shall be deemed for the purposes <br />17 of the initial land and resource management plans <br />18 required for such lands by the Forest and Range - <br />19 land Renewable Resources Planning Act of 1974, as <br />20 amended by the National Forest Management Act of <br />21 1976, to be an adequate consideration of the suit - <br />22 ability of such lands for inclusion in the National <br />23 Wilderness Preservation System and the Department <br />24 of Agriculture shall not be required to review the <br />25 wilderness option prior to the revision of the plans <br />S 10291S <br />
