Preparation of the Draft Record of Decision (ROD).
The Consultant shall assist the Federal agencies in the preparation of the draft
Record of Decision (ROD). The ROD will be prepared according to
guidelines issued by the corresponding Federal agencies and shall be
submitted for review prior to printing and distribution of the FEIS.
Important Notes to Consultant.
This Scope of Work is intended to be all inclusive of the anticipated work
tasks to prepare a complete and comprehensive NEPA document. The
Consultant shall prepare a detailed cost breakdown of each scope item listed
above. In the event some specific tasks are eliminated, these task budgets
will be deducted from the overall contract amount.
The intent of this scope of work is to limit "change orders" that typically
occur during the preparation of EIS documentation. If an out -of -scope work
item is identified, the Project Manager will immediately notify the Federal
agencies and MRCG of any potential impacts on the budget or schedule. For
example, additional budget would be required to evaluate any alternatives
brought forward for detailed analysis that are not included in this scope of
work. Every effort would be made to accomplish the unanticipated work
within the existing schedule and budget by shifting resources, if possible. The
Consultant shall work closely with MRCG and its consultants to avoid any
duplication of effort.
The cost estimate should be based on the proposed 2 -year project schedule.
The MRCG shall coordinate all access as required for all project field tasks
for the Consultant.
Film
