The completion of the
project will require Weld County Road 74 be closed and a detour provided as the outlet bisects the
roadway and cannot be removed without removing a portion of the roadway.
A 2 inch waterline owner by North Weld Water District will also have to be moved as it interferes
with the project construction.
PERMITTING
The Company owns the property in the area of the main dam and has an easement for the outlet ditch
downstream of the dam. We do not anticipate problems with right-of-way for the work on the outlet.
Permits will be required from Weld County to allow the excavation in the right-of-way for County
Road 74. There are also utilities that will be impacted and will have to be dealt with to complete the
project including a 2 inch water line and a electrical power pole.
The company and the Engineer believe no Environmental Assessment (EA) or Environmental Impact
Statement (EIS) will be required. The Corps of Engineers will be contacted concerning 404
permitting but anticipate the work falling under the Nation Wide Permits which will not require
formal permitting.
INSTITUTIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
No institutional considerations exist other than the proposed loan from the CWCB.
Angel Lake Feasibility Study
1
Page 13
'
