Characterize Condition of Riparian I�abitat <br />Present a�,�eneral assessment of h�:�itat value (riparian vevetation. fish. ��;ldlife) for the <br />Rio G;ande usinQ e�istin; data. Provide azneral inventocy data re�ardin� specitic <br />specizs, includin� population esti:nate�, descriptions of tl;eir aeographic ran�7z, their <br />current health and potential threats to their health. Identify those species that are of <br />particular si`niticanc:, because they are indicators of the health of the ripari�n ecosystems <br />of thz Rio Grande or because they are critical to the well bein� of those ecosystems. <br />Describe causes of all problems identified, for each location and discuss possible <br />enhancement measures. Geoaraphic information about specific species and about the <br />condition of riparian habitat alona the Rio Grande shall be identified on project GIS <br />maps, as described in Section II. A. <br />E. D�scribe Ease of Delivery of Interstate Compact Commitments <br />Briefly describe Colorado's interstate compact commitments for the Rio Grande. Identify <br />and describe all geosraphic locations and feattires (manmade and natliral) that may limit <br />the ease ot delivery oF these interstate compact commitments. Limitations to the ease of <br />detivery of �he commitments may include rzduced channel convevance capacity, the risk <br />of tlood dama�,e if too much �vater has to be deii��ered, threats to water di��ersion <br />infrastructure, thz possibility of harm to riparian habitat, or potential deQradation of water <br />quality. Distin�tiish bet�veen "HIGH", "��IEDIUtiI" �nd "LO`V" ease of delivery of <br />commitments based on a matrix takinQ into account each of the above parameters, <br />maintenance and repair cost, and other re�evant factors. Geoaraphic inforniation about <br />ease of delivery of compact commitments a(on, the Rio Grande shall be identified on <br />project GIS maps, as described in Section II. A. <br />F.
