COUNTY reserves the right to reject
the printing if it results in a loss of legibility in text, line work, lettering,
contours, or of ea:act scale at 0 percent reduction.
2.C.3. ENGINEER shall provide COUN11' with one set of the photocopy ready
original text and 22" x 34" plan and profile mylars making up the report.
2.C.4. ENGINEER shall utilize the mapping and hydrologic and hydraulic data
developed under Paragraph 2.A. Above to the fullest extent.
2.C.5. Hvdrologic studies shall be performed for the study reaches in sufficient
detail to determine the pealc rate and volume of runoff from ea.ch watershed and
sub-watershed in order to define flows in each rea.ch on a dependable hydrologic
basis for the 5-, 10- 2-, and 100-year recurrence intervals. The hydrology
shall be based on "projected watershed conditions" as projected from the zoning
maps of LOCAL SPONSOR. The 5-, 10-, 2-, and 100-year floods shall be
expressed in the form of flood hydrographs Hydrology calculations shall be
presented to COUNTY for approval.
2.C.6. Hydraulic calculations for the areas included in the study shall be
performed to define water surface profiles, floodplains, and floodways for the
10-, 2- and 100-year frequencies and shall be presented to COUNTI' for
approval. These calculations shall be complete to the extent of attaining at the
least, the capacity and general condition of esisting conduits, bridges, reservoirs,
channels, channel levees, etc., but not including their structural integrity.
2. C.7. One copy of all pertinent calculations in support of the not required under
Item 2.B.9. shall be provided to COUNTI' in accordance with the instructions
and requirements of Item 2.B.9.
2.C.8. Computer diskettes, including all AutoCad files, and supporting text as
described in Section 2.B.10. shall be submitted for ca.lculations unless already
contained in the submittal under 2.B.10.
2.C.9. ENGINEER shall compile and submit a photo album containing
photographs of the study reaches of the channels and floodplains to support the
roughness coefficients used for hvdraulic computations. All photographs shall
be mounted on three-ring binder backing and labeled as to locations (i.e.,
Drainageway and stationing) and direction the camera is facing (i.e., upstream,
downstream, etc.).
3.
