1991 <br />state agency officials, a Colorado legislator, a mortgagetbanking representative, a developer /real <br />estate representative, and an at -large chair. This committee's function will be to: 1) Review the <br />project work plan and scope of work, 2) Approve the study contract and contractor, 3) Provide <br />input to the study contractor during the study process, 4) Accept the study findings, and 5) Endorse <br />any CWCB or legislative recommendation which is deemed in the best interest of the property <br />owners and residents of the State of Colorado. In addition, the committee and CWCB will evaluate <br />the study findings to assure compatibility with the existing Board management program - See <br />Exhibit A. <br />STAFF RECOWVIENDATION FOR ENDORSEMENT OF THE PROPOSAL <br />The staff recommends that the Board endorse the language drafted by staff, as presented in Section <br />9 for the draft 1997 CWCB CONSTRUCTION BILL. This language will provide the CWCB with <br />the authority and funding to inventory the State's floodplain management needs and present a <br />program that will address these needs. The Board's participation shall not exceed an amount of one <br />hundred thousand dollars ($100,000). <br />a vmhab.pro <br />5 <br />
