If you are due for a test this year, call the
office for the amount of credit you have paid into the Association already.
2003 Plan w/o pumping for irrigation. AGUA needs all applications in the oce by January 10` in order to
have our plan in to the Division Office by March ls`. If you come in after January 1Q'• 2003 and before February
15, you will be charged, at least, a penalty of $100.00 per well and additional engineering costs. ,
2003 Plan Amendment including pumping for irrigation. Any well coming in after February 15`, will have to be
amended to the plan that has. already been sent to our engineer and is (or is) approaching book form. Any well users not
submitting a completed application with sufficient fees by the deadlines OR any well user applying after February 15th
can only be augmented through the supplemental plan. This plan would be implemented with an amendment to our
primary plan and if the Association is able to find additional augmentation water. Wells in the supplemental plan will be
assessed an additional$300 per well to amend the Primary Plan or, with board approval, share the costs of the amendment
with those persons amending the plan. NOTE: Active wells in the prior plan year will still have a water assessment to
meet post plan depletions, plan amendment and engineering costs
Inactive Wells: All inactive wells are put into the Augmentation Plan for $76.00 per well. This fee includes $30
administration and a$46 Loan Fee. If an "Inactive Member Well" is able (if water is available) to become Active
in the middle of the yeaz, that person needs to submit to AGUA the Active augmentation dues, a valid form 3.2 or
3.1 (well test), and a form 13 (Ground Water User Information Form).
Augmentation water fee: Every active member well purchases their water separately from the Dues. You pay
according to the acre-foot of augmenta.tion water required by your well. This amount will be calculated by the acre
feet of water needed that you provide on page 6 of this application. A break-down of charges are listed below.
a. Water - This is a fee for every acre-foot of water sold to the membership for water purchased, in the
current. plan year only, based on an acre-foot charge of the cost of water during that year multiplied by your
depletion amount. No water can be carried over to the following yeaz. The plan year starts April ls` and
ends March 31s of every year. For wells that are measured with a PCC factor and are read by your Power
Company, your water yeaz may start and end in the middle of March depending upon when they read your
meter.
b. Acqnisition Reserve Assessment — For the vear 2003, no assessments are being made. This is an
assessment of every acre-foot sold to the membership for future purchases of water rights, based on an acre-
foot charge of $1.00 multiplied by your depletion factor.
c. Water Right Purchase Fee - This is a fee for every acre-foot of depletion sold to the membership for
payment of the purchase of the Excelsior Ditch. This is in addition to the $46.00 paid in with the dues for
each Active and Inactive well.
AGUA Ezcess Reserved Water Sale Forrn -ou may request to sell your unused water back to AGUA. If
there is a buyer, in the same geographical area as your well, the water will be sold to that person, your reserved
amount will be decreased and AGUA will then send you a check for the aznount of the water you paid, less the
assessment and loan fee. Call the office if you need a form.
AGUA Excess Reserved Water Purchase Form - You may request to purchase extra water from AGUA. If
there is a seller in the same geographical area as your well, the water will be sold to you at the same price that
you purchased the water before, in addition to the assessment fee, the loan fee and a$25.00 extra water
purchase fee. If there is no seller for the extra water, your water will be charged according to the price of water
on the market at that time if AGUA can find any. Call the office if you need a form.
tual costs of the Plan may vary depending upon water costs, number of wells within the plan, and possible changes in
administration of the Plan. Membership may be subject to supplemental assessments if necessary. They may also
vary depending on whether you are in or out of the Conservancy District and/or the State identified white area.
embership and administrative fees must be received not later than Janu 10` and eve ear after. The au mentation
3' rY Y g
water fee must be paid by April 1 st and every year after. Those persons who request a payment plan for their water must do so
writing. If the board approves their request, they will then be subject to a finance charge of 2% interest per month and if
se fees are not paid within a timely manner, that welUwells will be subject to curtailment by the Division Office until paid.
The Division Office will not allow any well to pump if there is an outstanding bill due to another association.
,
2
