KEATING: "I could incorporate it into these minutes, <br />as an appendix, if you want to do that, Stan." <br />MR. S. MILLER: "That might be the best way to do this be- <br />cause it's hard for me to follow this. I'd have <br />to do a little thinking on it." (See Appendix A). <br />MR. GILDERSLEEVE: "Are there any.other members of the committee <br />who would like to add anything to what Mr. Miller <br />has said ?" <br />MR. H. DAVIS: <br />MR. GILDERSLEEVE: <br />"Mr. Gildersleeve." <br />"Mr. Davis." <br />MR. H. DAVIS: "As I recall, Mr. Sparks asked the steering <br />committee to assemble data on four questions <br />during the meeting and they, I believe, were <br />fairly important. No. 1, in my notes, is: <br />'What are the desirable service areas, <br />including both irrigation and municipal <br />water use ?' <br />And in consideration of this question he asked <br />for information on: <br />'What additional water is necessary to firm <br />up existing rights according to service <br />areas ?' <br />No. 2, he asked: <br />'What rights and water are there that could <br />be converted from offstream to main channel <br />storage ?' <br />In this connection, his thinking was that greater <br />efficiency would be achieved by eliminating some <br />of the offstream storage and greater economic <br />benefits would accrue from such efficiency. <br />-3- <br />
