Diane Lothamer moved adoption of Colorado County Officials and Employees <br />Retirement Association Retirement Plan. Jim Cochran seconded the motion. <br />The motion carried. <br />7. DISCUSSION REGARDING INVESTMENT OPTIONS <br />Board Treasurer Diane Lothamer distributed a memorandum on investment <br />options. She proposed forming a Finance Committee, which would meet and <br />make a recommendation to the board. She said she hopes to have <br />something in place by the first of the year. The Finance Committee will <br />consist of Diane Lothamer, Harley Tripp, and Ken Spann. <br />8. MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS <br />Greg Peterson said he wants to form various committees. The make -up of <br />the committees is as follows: <br />Legislative Committee: Dennis Steckel, Steve Glazer, Brett Redden, and Greg <br />Peterson. <br />Administration Issues Committee: Ken Spann, Greg Peterson, and Jim <br />Cochran. <br />Personnel Committee: Diane Lothamer, Harley Tripp, Dennis Steckel, and Bob <br />Drexel. <br />Greg Peterson requested that board members submit to the manager in <br />writing at least on the day of the meeting, any miscellaneous items that do <br />not relate to items planned for discussion. <br />9. UNSCHEDULED CITIZENS <br />Ramon Reed requested that he be notified of the Legislative Committee <br />meetings. <br />Steve Glazer recommended adding travel to legislative meetings to the <br />budget. He also suggested that the District buy a Polycom speaker phone. <br />Butch Clark said that on La Plata County' s website there is an excellent <br />analysis of ways to provide water and costing information. <br />Page 5 of 8 <br />
