UPPER GUNNISON RIVER WATER CONSERVANCY DISTRICT <br />REGULAR BOARD MEETING MINUTES <br />November 14, 2002 <br />The Board of Directors of the Upper Gunnison River Water Conservancy <br />District conducted a regularly scheduled meeting on November 14, 2002 at <br />5:30 p.m. at the Gunnison County Fairgrounds, Gunnison, Colorado. <br />Board members present were Jim Cochran, Bob Drexel, Bob Irby, Diane <br />Lothamer, Greg Peterson, Brett Redden, Dennis Steckel, and Harley Tripp. <br />Board members not present were Don Cardin, Steve Glazer, and Ken Spann. <br />Others present were: <br />Butch Clark <br />Cindy Covell, Alperstein & Covell <br />Kathleen Curry, Manager <br />Chris Dickey, Gunnison Country Times <br />Gib Marchand, Alperstein & Covell <br />John McClow, Board Attorney <br />Mark Schumacher <br />Jill Steele, Secretary/ bookkeeper <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />Board President Greg Peterson called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. <br />2. LEGAL MATTERS <br />2a. RICD APPLICATION STATUS <br />Cindy Covell said that after the CWCB made its recommendation to the <br />water court of 250 cfs with conditions and restrictions, Alperstein and Covell <br />moved to have the case re- referred to the judge on November 9, 2002. The <br />case will be at issue at the beginning of February, and the trial will most <br />likely take place in the summer of 2003. She said that this board had <br />Page 1 of 8 <br />
