South Platte River at Union Avenue. This assignment included performance of <br />alternatives evaluation, design, and obtaining approvals from many jurisdictions. <br />South Platte River Master Plan, Urban Drainage District, 1983. This project included <br />resource inventory, soliciting input from various agencies, interest groups, municipalities, <br />and citizens; formulating plans and preliminary designs for parks, natural areas, bike and <br />pedestrian paths, access points, river improvements, and fish- wildlife habitat <br />improvements; producing cost estimates for each phase; recommendations for <br />maintenance programs; and conducting public presentations for the project. <br />Miscellaneous Boat Chutes, Denver, Colorado, 1983 -1987. Designed and model - tested <br />safety improvements installed in the Platte River -3rd Avenue Dam boating bypass <br />structures. <br />Whitewater design engineer for boating bypass projects including the Arkansas River at <br />Buena Vista, Colorado, and the South Platte River at Florida Avenue, the South Platte <br />River at Oxford Avenue, the South Platte River near Gates Rubber Company, and Bear <br />Creek at Sheridan Boulevard in Denver, Colorado. <br />1991 -1998 Boulder Greenways Coordinator <br />City of Boulder <br />Boulder, Colorado <br />Responsible for planning, coordination, management, and implementation of a <br />comprehensive, state -of- the -art greenway system designed to link virtually every major <br />area of Boulder. The award winning project includes over forty miles of greenways, <br />bridges and underpasses, pocket parks, environmental presentation and restoration areas, <br />and flood capacity improvements.
