<br />- 5- <br /> <br />. Larry Lang provided an overview of his meeting with the Corps on July 29th regarding the $1.27 <br />million additional study costs, contract amendments between the CWCB & Corps, and funds from <br />the water users. <br /> <br />. The Corps expressed the desire to contract directly with the CWCB. The CWCB will collect non- <br />state match funds from the water users. The new contract amendment is under review by the <br />Corps and CWCB legal counsels. The new study completion date is December 31, 2006 with the <br />"Record of Decision" for the EIS expected on July 1, 2007. <br /> <br />. Rick McLoud provided a summary of the morning discussions and initial space requests. <br /> <br />. Gary Dendrel provided an update on the scoping for the EIS. There is a draft public notice under <br />consideration by the Corps. Tetra Tech and the Corps will conduct public meetings within the next <br />30 to 45 days in Littleton and Greeley, Colorado. <br /> <br />. Tetra Tech gave a "NEPA 101" PowerPoint presentation at a Project Meeting in June 2004. It is <br />posted on the CWCB website at http://cwcb.state.co.us/FloodIntro.htm.This will give <br />interested parties an overview of the upcoming NEP A - EIS process. <br /> <br />. Discussion topics for the October 6th Chatfield Overall Project Meeting are: <br />1. An outline for the Alternative Facilities study; <br />2. Progress report on the Antecedent Flood Study; <br />3. Explain the NEPA process/procedure; <br />4. Recap the Reservoir Routing Model and verify the 20,600 acre-foot pool; <br />5. Present findings of the T&E Plant Inventories Study; and <br />6.
