The goal is to keep the communication and coordination between <br />all interested parties: Tetra Tech, Colorado State Parks, CWCB, Division of Wildlife, Fish & Wildlife <br />Service, Corps of Engineers-Omaha District, water users and environmental groups. <br /> <br />Water Users Subcommittee Meeting (9:30 - 11:30 AM August 11) <br /> <br />. Twenty-seven individuals attended this meeting at Denver Water to begin discussions on the <br />allocation of additional storage space at Chatfield Reservoir (20,600 AF). <br /> <br />. There was mention of the "Urban River Group" that was comprised of like-minded water users <br />looking for additional water from Chatfield Reservoir to be released through the Denver Metro <br />reach of the South Platte River. The Urban River Group is being chaired by Marc Waage of <br />Denver Water. <br /> <br />. The Urban River Group includes the Greenway Foundation, Denver Water, Littleton, and others. <br />The goal is to coordinate the requests of those looking to put Chatfield Reservoir water in the <br />South Platte River and get as many uses out of this water as possible. I.E. Water is released for <br />good flows through Denver can then picked up by other water users downstream like a utility <br />company, Central Colorado Water Conservancy District, or others. <br /> <br />Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />Flood Protection.
